Inventa, located in Oxford’s West End, was the first acquisition in the Mission Street/ BGO platform. Mission Street were pioneering in identifying the potential of the West End for an urban Science district. The micro location, which includes our second phase, Fabrica, has a development pipeline of over 2 million sq ft of Science accommodation and will become Oxford’s most centrally located Science cluster.
Formerly two redundant retail warehouses, we worked with Owers Warwick Architects to re-imagine, re-purpose and transform the building into a lab, office and collaboration space of the highest quality, just 10-minutes walk from Oxford station and the city centre.
The footprint of the original building provided an ability to create large lateral space across two floors. By breaking the space up via two ‘high streets’ that run through the building, occupiers benefit from a unique environment that actively encourages collaboration with over 8,000 sq ft of high-volume internal amenity space.
