Design Evolution
Fabrica, Oxford is our second phase in the West End, Oxford’s most centrally located Science district. Acquired in mid-2021 the site offers an exceptional opportunity to deliver a commercial R&D building of scale within a 10-minute walk from Oxford station and further establishing the critical mass of Oxford’s urban innovation district.
The scheme, led by NBBJ Architects has been designed to provide scale, flexibility and collaboration (both within the building and also with the wider community). This has been achieved via lateral floor plates centred around a large atrium and connected to a new café open to the public.
The building has been designed to accommodate innovation companies of all sizes and will be the largest commercial R&D scheme to be delivered within walking distance to Oxford station.
