Staircase installation at Fabrica

Installation of the feature staircase is underway at Fabrica, Oxford, following completion of the concrete frame by OBR Construction. The first flight has now been successfully lifted into position within the five-storey building.

The staircase has been developed through a collaborative design process, with concepts by NBBJ Design, design development by Oberlanders Architects and structural engineering by Elliott Wood. Three further flights will be installed, forming a feature stair within the atrium beneath the timber and glass roof.
